via this is colossal

this is another colossal find.

and although it's just over a month old, i really wanted to share it.

this installation by japanese artist yayoi kusama is on display at the queensland art gallery until march 11. 

it's such a simple concept, allowing kids to just sorta go nuts with sticker application on a blindingly white canvas.

and i like how the photos show the progression from just a few stickers here and there to near-total coverage.

today on this is colossal, there's an installation by saudi arabian artist manal al dowayan. totally worth your time to check it out.

but be forewarned! 

it's all too easy to spend your whole afternoon scrolling through page after page of amazing art. 

it really is incredible.
