i wanted to do something similar to what i did in the fall. but instead of watching the leaves turn colors and fall off, i wanted to do some time lapse photos of them growing back.

well.

i missed a few days here and there, and it was like i blinked and they were all back.

guess spring was serious about making its comeback. 

potw: foil me once

foil stamping is so cool.

i mean, if i could go back in time, i would have been ALL. OVER. that kraft paper/copper foil combination for our wedding invitations.

it's perfect.

both of those notecard sets would make for an awesome hostess gift or birthday present.

and just like the last potw, there was so much good stuff to go around, i couldn't narrow down my choices to just six designs.

killed it

for me, weekends don't get much better than this. 

hanging out with my boys (lucy too of course), beautiful weather, shopping for herbs, blooming flowers everywhere and impromptu cocktails at our neighborhood spot.

hope you got to spend the weekend with the people and pets you love the most. 

friday finds: xiii

earlier this year, i bought these leggings from old navy and i was seriously impressed. super comfortable, definitely not too sheer and they even have a cool pattern. for working out in the summer though, i'm thinking i need a shorter pair (see below).

i'm also loving how comfortable and easy that striped midi dress looks. throw on some sandals and some easy gold jewelry, pull your hair up and you're done. SUMMER.

those wipes are probably something i need to get my hands on too. no one likes a nasty phone.

hoop dreams

i've seen embroidery hoops used as wedding decor and i remember my mom using one when she was making...something. i don't speak sewing really. 

i couldn't decide if they were a bit too twee for my taste, but i saw a few recently that caught my eye. these would make a fun textural addition to a gallery wall or they could add interest in a guest room.

the ones shown here are from sarah k. benning, needle pin embroidery, and thimble and thistle.
